These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding legal agreement between you and 7 Kings Code (“we”, “us”, “our”). They govern your use of the Authmate / Merchant Mate mobile application and web platform (the “App”).
01. What the App does
Authmate / Merchant Mate lets businesses verify whether a payment card is active, valid, and able to be charged.
To accomplish this, the App places a temporary authorization hold on the card for a specified amount, confirms status with the payment network, and immediately returns or releases that authorization hold.
02. Beta / test version
Certain versions of the App may be distributed for beta testing (such as via Apple TestFlight or ad-hoc builds). Beta versions are provided “as-is” for evaluation purposes, may change or be updated without notice, and carry no uptime guarantees.
03. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into binding contracts.
- If you register on behalf of a company or entity, you represent and warrant that you possess full legal authority to bind that entity.
- All information provided during registration must be accurate, truthful, and kept up to date.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials, passwords, and one-time passcodes (OTP). Notify us immediately at support@7kcdev.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We reserve the right to place accounts in an inactive review state during security audits. Inactive accounts cannot run card authorizations.
04. Permitted use
You may only use the App to check payment cards:
- That belong to you or your registered business entity, OR
- That belong to a customer who has given explicit, verifiable permission for the verification check.
You must obtain cardholder authorization before entering card details and inform them that a temporary hold will appear on their bank statement.
05. Prohibited use
You must not under any circumstances:
- Input card credentials that you do not own or lack express permission to verify.
- Engage in automated or manual “card testing” (testing lists of stolen, leaked, or generated card numbers).
- Place repeated micro-transactions to discover active credit lines.
- Decompile, reverse-engineer, exploit, or attempt unauthorized access to our infrastructure.
- Violate payment network rules (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) or applicable laws.
- Share account credentials with unauthorized third parties.
06. Fees and charges
The authorization hold amount is returned to the card following the verification check. The exact timeframe for the hold to disappear depends on the cardholder's financial institution (typically 1–5 business days).
Payment processors or banks may charge standard processing fees outside our control. Any platform subscription or usage fees will be clearly presented prior to charge.

Payment card processing is executed through certified merchant gateways (including Authorize.Net, Square, Clover, Stripe, and PayPal). Your use of these gateway services is subject to their respective merchant terms of service and compliance rules.

The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind.
A successful card authorization verifies only that the card was approved by the issuer at that specific point in time. It does not guarantee that subsequent transactions will succeed, nor does it eliminate chargeback risk.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 7 Kings Code shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, lost revenue, or data loss.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the App shall be limited to the total fees paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

If you obtain the App through Apple's App Store or TestFlight, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and 7 Kings Code, not Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.
